The Sonoma County FOOD BANK for people living with HIV/AIDS
Food for Thought (FFT) is a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to meeting the nutritional and basic needs of all persons living with HIV/AIDS in Sonoma County. Founded in 1988, we currently provide services to over 600 men and women from all walks of live - as well as their dependent children - in a safe and welcoming environment. All services are offered free of charge.
Food for Thought (FFT) provides weekly grocery bags of canned and boxed food, fresh produce, high quality protein, vitamins and nutritional supplements, and whatever other goodies are on hand, along with frozen meals for those too ill to cook. We deliver Sonoma county-wide to clients who are homebound. Nutrition education, support groups and occasional hugs are also available at no extra charge. All of this is possible thanks to over 500 dedicated volunteers, generous donors and vital community support for our fund raising events.
